1. Who we are

ToolJee (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates https://www.tooljee.com, a free collection of browser-based utility tools. Publisher contact: support@tooljee.com · Contact form · About.

2. Information we collect

We do not collect or store the files, images, QR content, or documents you process in our PDF, Image, Video, or QR tools. That data stays in your browser’s memory and is cleared when you leave or reload the page.

Optional accounts: you may sign in with Google and/or email & password (Firebase Authentication). Authentication is handled by Firebase / Google. Depending on features you use:

• Business Tools cloud save: company profile, invoices/quotations, and branding files you choose to save are stored in ToolJee’s MySQL database and private storage on our hosting. PDF/Image/QR conversion files are never uploaded for conversion. See the Business Cloud Disclaimer. You can delete Business cloud data from My account.
• File Share: when you create a share link, the file you upload is stored in private object storage for the link lifetime (default 24 hours), then deleted. Download pages for share tokens are not indexed by search engines.

We may also collect limited information needed to run and improve the site:

• Server logs: IP address, browser type, request path, referrer, and timestamps (typical web hosting logs).
• Visitor statistics: we may show anonymous page-view or visitor counts in the future. If enabled, a first-party cookie with a random ID may be used. This feature is currently disabled.
• Analytics: With your consent (cookie banner), we use Google Analytics 4 to collect aggregated usage data (e.g. pages viewed, traffic sources). See Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Contact form: if you write to us, we receive the name, email, and message you submit, and use them only to respond. Messages are sent to support@tooljee.com.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies help the site work, measure traffic, and show relevant advertising. Categories may include:

• Essential: security/rate-limit session for the contact form; your cookie-consent choice (stored locally).
• Analytics: Google Analytics cookies — only after you Accept non-essential cookies.
• Advertising: Google AdSense and partner cookies — only after you Accept (see section 4).

You can change your mind anytime by clearing site data for tooljee.com (which resets the consent banner) or by blocking cookies in your browser. Blocking some cookies may affect analytics or personalized ads, but core tools will still work.

4. Google AdSense and third-party advertising

ToolJee displays ads served by Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-1647800767850586) and related Google advertising partners when you consent to advertising cookies via our on-site banner. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and/or other sites.

• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to ToolJee and other sites.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.

We do not control all cookies set by advertisers. Their policies apply to their own processing. If you choose Reject non-essential, we do not load AdSense or Google Analytics scripts from our consent-gated installer.

5. How we use information

• Operate, secure, and improve ToolJee
• Provide optional Business cloud save and File Share when you use those features
• Count visits and understand popular tools (with consent)
• Respond to support requests
• Display advertising and measure ad performance (with consent)
• Comply with law and prevent abuse (e.g. contact-form spam)

We do not sell your personal information. Business cloud data and shared files are not used to personalize third-party ads.

6. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we process data based on legitimate interests (site security, essential operations), consent (non-essential cookies, analytics, and ads via our banner), and/or contract/legitimate interest when you contact us for support or use signed-in features you request.

7. Data retention

• PDF / Image / QR / Video tool files: not retained on our servers for conversion.
• File Share objects: retained until the link expires (default 24 hours) or you delete the link, then removed from storage.
• Business cloud data & files: retained while saved in your account, until you delete them, or as required for security/legal obligations. See Business Cloud Disclaimer.
• Consent records (version / time): retained with your account for compliance evidence when applicable; browser consent choice is stored locally on your device.
• Visitor stats (if re-enabled later): aggregated counters; visitor cookie typically lasts up to 1 year.
• Contact emails: retained as long as needed to handle your request and for ordinary business records.
• Server logs: retained per hosting provider practices, then rotated or deleted.

8. Children’s privacy

ToolJee is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International transfers

Our hosting and email providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers.

10. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data, or to object to processing / withdraw consent. To exercise these rights regarding data we hold (for example contact emails), email support@tooljee.com.

11. Links to other sites

Outbound links are not covered by this policy. Review the privacy practices of those sites separately.

12. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
